In 1990, ICIG manufactured the precast concrete wave wall units for the Ras Laffan port in Qatar, which is the largest Liquified Natural Gas exporting port in the world. We produced a substantial number of wave breakers that were installed to withstand challenging environmental conditions and large-scale port activity. The project was completed in 1994—prior to the set time in 1996—reflecting our commitment to excellence and to efficient, on-time delivery. Our wave wall units from 1994 are still in place, withstanding environmental changes and almost 30 years of use without any need for upkeep or restoration while continuing to protect the Port of Raslafan..
